1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the SA Body Analysis & Nutrition website and services (“SABA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 57 Magill Road, Stepney, South Australia. By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. About Our Services
SABA provides body composition scanning (InBody analysis), nutrition consultations, scanner hire, corporate wellness packages, and related health and wellness services. Our nutrition services are provided by a nationally recognised nutritionist and are non-clinical in nature. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and our services are not a substitute for advice from a registered medical practitioner, dietitian, or other qualified health professional.
3. Bookings and Payment
All appointments must be booked and paid for in advance through our online booking system unless a prior arrangement has been made directly with SABA. By booking an appointment, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
We reserve the right to decline a booking or service where eligibility criteria are not met, including but not limited to specific health and safety conditions outlined during the booking process or consultation.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment are eligible for a refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment are not eligible for a refund. This policy reflects standard practice across allied health services and exists because your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you.
If you need to reschedule, you may do so through the booking system provided it is outside the 24-hour window. For changes within 24 hours of your appointment, please contact us directly.
5. Health and Safety
Certain conditions may affect your eligibility for body composition scanning, including but not limited to pregnancy, implanted cardiac devices (such as pacemakers), and limb absence. It is your responsibility to disclose any relevant health conditions prior to your appointment. SABA reserves the right to decline or modify a service where it is deemed unsafe or inappropriate to proceed.
Our services, including InBody scanning, are not diagnostic medical tests. Where a medical or clinical concern is identified or disclosed, we will recommend you seek advice from an appropriately qualified medical professional, dietitian, or specialist.
6. Nutrition Consultations
Our nutrition consultations and personalised nutrition plans are general in nature and based on the information, body composition data, and goals you provide. They are not intended to replace clinical dietary management for medical conditions. If you have a diagnosed medical condition requiring clinical nutritional management, we recommend consulting a registered dietitian.
7. Scan Packages
Scan packages purchased through SABA are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are non-transferable. Packages not used within this period will expire and are no longer redeemable.
8. Scanner Hire and Corporate Services
Scanner hire, corporate wellness packages, and workshop bookings are subject to a separate hire agreement and quote provided directly by SABA, in addition to these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of SABA and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without our prior written consent.
10. Privacy
Your personal information, including health and body composition data, is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in that policy.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, SABA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our website or services. Nothing inthese Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
